“Macau teamLab supernatural space” is a new permanent immersive interactive experience project, which will land on the Venetian Macao for trial operation on June 15. In the sophisticated and complex three-dimensional world, there are a number of super-giant works of art unique to Macau and leading in the avant-garde.
The art team teamLab transforms a 5,000 square meter, 8-meter high space into a sophisticated three-dimensional world, presenting a fascinating and immersive interactive experience for visitors of all ages. People will be able to immerse themselves in this world with relatives and friends and together create their own world with a conscious body.
The team has launched multiple exhibitions around the world, including New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Beijing, Taipei, and Melbourne. Among them, the permanent museum includes an exhibition in Tokyo’s Odaiba district in June 2018; and an exhibition at the Wujie Art Museum in Binjiang, Huangpu, Shanghai in November 2019.
Popular works in the exhibition include the valleys of flowers and people that change over time: lost, immersed and reborn, and the graffiti nature that flips the world, the Red List. These groups of works constitute a vast space for participants to explore the new understanding of man and nature and the world, and work with others to integrate the entire body into the works and create and integrate them into works.
The work “Sculpture of Light”, which has not been previously exhibited by laser technology, will debut in “Macau teamLab Supernatural Space”. Composed of 11 independent “performances”, the laser beam is used to create a fascinating light plane. The wonderful and compact performance must immerse visitors in this complex three-dimensional art installation that can reconstruct the space in real-time.
This new Macau landmark also brings together “Learning! Future Amusement Park” and “Sports Forest” exhibition areas. “Learning! Future amusement park” is an educational project with the concept of “common creativity and co-creation”, and it is also an “amusement park” that can enjoy creating the world freely with others. “Sports Forest” is a new “creative sports space” with the theme of “experiencing the world with the body and thinking the world in three dimensions”, which allows the brain and body to grow together and exercise spatial cognitive ability.
